Éiru Films secures Screen Ireland development funding for two Irish feature films
Éiru Films has been awarded two Feature Film Development Loans from Screen Ireland for Black Pill, written by Stuart Drennan, and Cigarettes, written by Luke Hanlon. The projects have each received €25,600 in funding, enabling us to push forward in our journey to bring these compelling stories to screen.
The funding, provided through Screen Ireland’s Feature Film Development Loan scheme, is a vital resource for Irish producers looking to commission screenplays and develop feature films up to production stage.
The funding is part of Screen Ireland’s broader commitment to supporting films that are predominantly in English or Irish, or a combination of both, and which reflect the depth and diversity of Irish storytelling. Éiru Films’ success in securing this support underscores our dedication to producing high-quality, engaging cinema that resonates both locally and internationally.
