Principal Photography Commences on Ar Ais Arís

Éiru Films is proud to announce that principal photography has commenced on Ar Ais Arís, a new eight-part live action drama series for Cúla4, marking another significant milestone for the company's growing slate of Irish and international productions.

Produced by Oscar nominated Tailored Films, Portuguese production company BeActive Entertainment and Éiru Films, Ar Ais Arís is an ambitious international TV drama that brings together leading Irish and Portuguese creative talent. The series was developed with the support of Creative Europe MEDIA and is funded by TG4, Coimisiún na Meán, Screen Ireland, NOS Audiovisuais, ICA (Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual), and PIC Portugal.

Commissioned by TG4 for Cúla4, Ar Ais Arís follows a group of young friends whose lives are turned upside down when a mysterious girl from the past suddenly appears in present-day Connemara. As they work together to help her return to her own time, they embark on an extraordinary adventure that spans generations, countries, and time itself.

Filming is now underway in Corr na Mona, Co. Galway, before production moves to Portugal later this summer, reflecting the series' international scope and collaboration.
